Different scenarios for multi company operations

Hi,

Wanted to know if we can configure C4C system to support different scenarios in multi company operations?

For Eg.

Companies A & B (both from different industries) are configured in C4C.

In A the requirement is lead to sales quote in C4C and then creation of Sales order in ECC.

In B the requirement is lead to opportunity in C4C and then creation of Sales quote and following order in ECC.

Is this scenario possible?

It would be the same ECC system in back end.

This is just one of the scenario. Like wise in other scenarios also, would it be possible to define processes as per industry requirements?
