Involved Parties Determination

We have created custom Party Role and added 2 employees to the Account Team with the same custom Party Role. When creating Appointment or Lead for the Account, only one of the employees with that same custom Party Role is added to the Involved Parties of the Appointment or Lead. Is it possible for both employees to be added to the Involved Parties of the Appointment or Lead?
