Import .csv for mass data maintainance

Hi,

 

I am using Mass Data Maintainance to import the new changes to the C4C accounts.

However, I cannot upload the file using the link in the Import part. The file I try to upload is .csv.

Can you please advise?

How do make an employee Obsolete so that he is not available in Party selections

Hello,

I have a major question. When an employee leaves the company, we put an end date to his organization assignment. But how can we make this employee OBSOLETE such that he is not available for selection in the party roles  in the transactions? He should also not be searchable under the PEOPLE tab.

 

In short, it should behave how when contacts when set to status as obsolete, does not show up anywhere.

C4C Sales Quoutes Mass Update

Hello experts

 

I have a problem with sales quotes update

 

I need to update 30,000 sales quotes, but using the migration tool is not possible to update and Mass data Maintenance functionallity has not option for sales quote.

 

I need to add a new party involved (approver role) in the parties involved  tab for these 30,000 sales quotes.

Initial load issue of sales Org from ERP

Hi Experts,

We integrated C4C - PO- ERP-ISU.

Integration is successful, but when we are trying to load the sales org data using T.code COD_INT_MENU, we are getting below error.

The request reached PO and also C4C, but in C4C message monitoring it shows below error.

 

please someone help, if any of you have some idea.

 

We get the following error message during sales organization initial load from R/3 (IS-U) to C4C.

I create a workflow rule for send emails when opportunity is won. I have the field account but I also need to send the street as field. In the enter basic data I can´t select Account and opportunity so how I put the street field in the opportunity?

URL as HTML mashup

Hi All,

 

I am new to cloud and trying to integrate a URL ( any URL ) as a HTML mashup. Below are my settings

However in the preview, I am getting an error "This content cannot be displayed in a frame". This is happening with every URL.

 

Now is there any step I am missing here, or do we need to use "HTML code" to view any webpage. If we need to do this with HTML code, what code do we write in the editor.

How and When to Request a Restore Point

The Restore point is a snapshot of your solution data that is saved at a specific point in time. If a problem occurs, you can request that your data is restored to this point in time.

 


When to Request a Restore Point?


It is indicated to request a restore point when you will perform critical tasks that might affect the system.

So, in case something does not work as expected, you can rollback your system.

For example: before migrating/replicating new master data; before deploying a PDI solution, before activating an organizational structure, etc.

 



How to Request a Restore Point?



Pre Requisites :

 

1) 4 Hours Downtime Window (Outside the Contractual Maintenance Period)
2) System URL

3) Raise the Incident at least 8 hours before the downtime. This is in order to SAP Provisioning team be able to process the request in the time.

4) Your system must be a Test or a Production system

 

Process :

 

To request a restore point, create an incident. Click Report Incident in the Help Center and provide the following information in the ticket:

 

•Request restore point
•Customer name
•Customer number (Business Partner Number)
•Source tenant ID or URL
•Requested downtime of source tenant: Start time, start date
•Requestor (SAP Project Manager / Advocate)


Important Points to Note :


  • Any activities completed in your production system after you requested the restore point are overwritten when you restore your data. You have to complete these activities again.
  • You have to stop working on activities that you want to be able to restore, until after you have received the confirmation email. This way, this mail serves as a clear marker of the status that your system will be restored to.
  • A restore point can be requested only for Test or Production Systems. It can't be requested for Demo or Development systems.
  • A restore point is available in the system for a period of 14 days only.
  • The restore point is deleted after the retention period is expired.
  • The restore point is rendered obsolete after a release upgrade, even if it has been created within the 14 day period described above.
  • Once a restore point is taken, SAP Cloud Applications Studio activities are restricted, please avoid deploying new patches as a consistent restore cannot be assured. This restriction is removed in following cases

           (1) the restore point expires after 14 days,

           (2) the restore point is deleted before the expiration date or

          (3) a rollback to the restore point is applied.


 


What Happens After the Request is made via incident ?

You ( IT Contact/ any requested user ,if specifically email Id is mentioned) will receive a confirmation email with a Restore Point ID once the restore point was created successfully. You need this ID when you request that your data is restored. A restore point expires after 14 days.

What is Request Restore from Restore Point ?

 

One you Request a Restore Point , if you want to re use the same , it is called Request Restore from Restore Point

 

What Happens While you Request a Restore Point ?

 

The System will be restored to a past date where the "Restore point creation was requested" earlier.

Process :

How can i solve it out or there is some other way to extract the EmailURIs from there?

How to Customize E-Mail Text of the Output Channel

You want to change the standard E-mail texts from the Sales Quote Output.

 

  1. Go to the Sales work center.
  2. Go to the Sales Quotes view.
  3. Select & open any sales quote.
  4. Go to the Output tab.
  5. Click on Actions -> Edit Output Settings.
  6. Go to the E-Mail Text tab where you find the standard E-Mail text.

You can create your own HTML template to change the standard text of the Sales Quote Output & Replace the standard template with your customized template.

 

 

Steps to create an HTML template:

  1. Open a Notepad.
  2. Enter the e-mail text as per your requirement.
  3. Click on Save as.
  4. Save the file with .html extension

 

Steps to upload the HTML template:

  1. Go to Application and User Management in Silverlight UI.
  2. Select Form Template Maintenance view.
  3. Select the form (Sales Quote) for which you want to change the e-mail text.
  4. Click on Actions and select the Created e-mail template.
  5. Browse and select the e-mail template that you have created (.html file) and click on Ok.

Now when you open the Sales Quote "Edit Output Settings" you will be able to changed e-mail texts.

C4C + Softphone + CTI Adapter via terminal Server

Hi All,

 

We have a scenario with Softphone (Avaya) + CTI adapter+ C4C, and user access via a server terminal.

 

Softphone (Avaya) is installed at the user’s local machine, and when a call is received, it is directed for the terminal server, which in turn sends the information to the CTI adapter.

 

As the adapter does not manage the ports and in this scenario, it recognizes only a single IP, it is not possible to identify different users and it gives out an error message when trying to send the call to different users.

 

Does anyone know if it is possible to make the CTI adapter identify different ports?

 

Any other suggestions for this scenario?

How unsubscribe "SubscriptionURI" and CMS integration work

Dear experts,

 

can kindly anyone of you explain how the C4C - CMS integration can be made for unsubscribing C4C customers from receiving further e-mails?

 

I understood that in the SubscriptionURI placeholder I have to put the URL of my landing page.

 

Now, how can i build the integration from my landing page to C4C ?

It is ok using API, i think the correct one is "ManageMarketingPermissionIn".

But how to fulfill data inside the webservice? How the landing page knows which is the customer ID to update marketing permissions?

How to map Opportunity Note with OnPremise Opportunity Note

We have two text types (0001 & A008) maintained under CRM onpremise opportunity.  When I check inbound/outbound IDoc data, Cloud system communicating with A008 notes.

 

Where should I carry changes so that Cloud opportunity notes can communicate with on premise CRM opportunity text type 0001?

In have the following issue: When I go Oppurtinites and open the tab Survey, there are no surveys listed, even though I have created some before. The same problem for Leads. I am logged in as Administration and checked both in Silverlight and HTML5.

How to restore deleted standard query

Hello All,

 

As of a recent release, you can now delete standard queries from the drop down lists within the search screens. Does anyone know how to restore a standard query once it has been deleted from the master layout? The "All" option from the Accounts search screen got deleted and I can't find a way to bring it back!

HOWTO: Outlook plugin - Unable to Add contacts - Button grayed out

Hi All

 

Just came across Lisa's original post concerning the difficulty that she and many others it seems have experienced in creating and synchronising Contacts from Outlook to the relevant accounts in their C4C system.

 

If anyone is still struggling with this then please read the detailed but very simple solution below.

 

1.   As mentioned earlier please uninstall your version of the microsoft outlook add-in and remove and delete the "SAP Cloud For Customer" folder that is in your mailbox. Now close microsoft outlook.

 

2.  Please download the latest version of the "Add-In For Microsoft Outlook" from your SAP C4C tenant, which at this moment in time is release 142.0.2568.519. Install this new Add-In and now open up microsoft outlook.


You will see that a SAP Cloud for customer specific menu now resides in your outlook toolbar together with a "SAP Cloud For Customer" folder in your mailbox.


3.  From this SAP Cloud menu in your outlook toolbar please log into your C4C Tenant, you will be prompted to provide your login credentials.


4.  Select "Contacts" and then select the SAP Cloud for Customer subfolder : " SAP Cloud for Customer Contacts ".

      *** DO NOT select option SAP Cloud for Customer Accounts *** - you will not be able to create a contact in your C4C solution using this option.

5.  From your toolbar select "New Contact" and maintain your contact information in the new window that now opens.

 

6.  Now select "Add Contact" from the toolbar. Please note that had you tried creating a contact via "SAP Cloud for Customer Accounts" then this      "Add Contact" button would have been greyed out. This may well explain where fellow SCN users have been going wrong.

7.  In the new window that appears,  click on  "Add Reference"  and select "Account''.

 

8.  Search for the account for which you are creating your new contact.

     NOTE: For business users, they should be assigned as the Account Owners for the accounts in the C4C system for which they are creating new    contacts.

9.   Click on Add Reference button

10. Click on Submit button


11.  Your new contact will now replicate via. synchronisation to the account in your SAP Cloud for customer tenant solution.

To confirm a successful replication to your Cloud solution, login into your tenant, go to your account and you will see in the "Contacts" tab that your newly created contact now appears in your contacts list.
