How do I link cloud datasources with external IDs to C4C accounts?

Dear community,

I want to create a cloud datasource in C4C which contains ERP data.

However, this data contains the customers's ERP ID only, not the C4C ID.

How can I link the ERP ID to the C4C internal IDs? If I do not link the IDs, the analysis will be of no use because there is no link to the actual customer in C4C.

I tried to enter a referencing datasource (CODCUSTOMER), but the selection contains the internal ID only. If I choose this one, the link in the report will be wrong, because the account with ID 1000 in C4C is completely different from th one with ID 1000 in ERP.

I think this will be a general problem for all cloud datasource which come from external systems without C4C ID. Hopefully you will be able to give me some advise how to do this.
